What is Fiverr?
Description: Founded in 2010, Fiverr has over the years evolved into a sophisticated online marketplace where anyone can sign up in order to offer freelance services to potential buyers. It's essentially a "matchmaking" between buyers and sellers.
How Does Fiverr Work?
Sellers once signed up at Fiverr, set up what's called a gig, which allows them to promote their specialties such as logo design, writing chapters for fiction to providing thorough SEO audits for websites. Sellers can use ads in order to promote their gigs in the marketplace. In addition, their gigs can provide services not offered anywhere else and add the label exclusively on Fiverr.
Once a buyer places an order, a seller has anywhere from two to five days or longer to complete the work offered. When the work is fulfilled, the buyer receives an email telling them that and there's a link included to review the order/work. Usually there' an attached file where the backlinks can be checked. A buyer gets a couple of days to review the work and, if satisfied, can approve it, rate the work, and even tip the seller for doing an excellent job. However, if the buyer finds anything wrong, is unhappy with the work, the URL(s) is missing somewhere, etc., the buyer can send a message to the seller telling about the problems to be corrected. Sometimes there's just not enough time that the seller feels s/he must request a time extension to complete the work at hand. So, the buyer receives that time extension request and can either approve or disapprove.
Is there a Promo/Coupon/Discount code for Fiverr?
Since it's free for both buyers and sellers to join Fiverr, there are no promo or coupon codes. I emailed Fiverr and the Fiverr administrator wrote back: "At the moment we are not offering coupons, however, if we launch them any time soon, you will be notified."

My Personal Experience with Fiverr
Because only a few months ago I was searching all over the web for affordable marketing assistance for my various, neglected websites, I stumbled upon Fiverr almost by accident and randomly at Yahoo. Look, since I am unemployed and on a very tight budget, if you can even call it that, relying on odd jobs to earn a few bucks here and there, I can't afford to hire a world-renowned SEO agency to build backlinks for my websites on a monthly basis as mega corporations can. So, of course, I was desperately looking for the least expensive online marketing support. I landed on Fiverr and kept returning repeatedly because of their much lower rates as compared to others online.
For example, before I came here, I paid someone outside Fiverr $75.00 to create only 35 blog comments for one of my health-related websites. I quickly realized that Fiverr is at least ten times cheaper! Here, I would only pay between $5 to $10 for exactly the same service. Thus, why I keep coming back! I am now addicted like a junkie who just can't quit. Without doubt, Fiverr is a webmaster's "playground" on account of the superabundance of link-building options available to buyers.
After signing up, in the short last two months I've become one of Fiverr's biggest buyers, which may seem to be an overstatement, but not so at Fiverr. I visit often from three to four times daily to search for new prospective sellers who are offering a better marketing plan for building contextual one-way links. There are many versions of building backlinks, and each has its obvious merits and advantages.
Recently, I had a little issue with a certain "new" seller who I found while conducting another careful search. I ordered the seller's premium plan which appeared quite attractive and promising and the cost was $25 plus Fiverr regular fees, $3 something. According to this premium plan, I was supposed to receive a total of 135 backlinks in unique articles for my URL in a time frame of ten days. But after a few days, the seller surprisingly sent me an email notifying me of the completion of the whole job. As I proceeded to check the worksheet in the attached file, I saw my URL address listed in one of the spaces in the worksheet, but couldn't find the URL in any of the hyperlinked anchors within the articles. Another URL was included instead; apparently the seller had sent me someone else's order! This was the first time this has ever happened to me here.
So, I soon contacted Fiverr customer support and told them what occurred to me. They wrote back and asked me to send them a screenshot as proof. I replied that since I am not very tech-savvy I was clueless how to do that. Then as I was wavering on how to manage this task, two days later, I received a notice telling me that I had only 24 hours left before the order was considered as completed, so I had to hurry. With suspense building up fast and fearing that I would lose $25.00, I racked my brains and thought of a way to overcome this small technical hurdle, went back to the file, copied the first listed 29 backlinks, pasted them in my new message and sent it off. I wrote in the reply message that my URL hadn't been inserted in any of these backlinks and encouraged them to check each of the backlinks one-by-one.
Today, on June 29, Fiverr customer support got back to me in the morning and said they finally cancelled the order, which I tried to cancel earlier but the seller declined to agree to do. Customer support returned my $28 and some change to my account and even offered to transfer the money back to my debit card, if I preferred. I thought for a while that I was going to be out $25.00. However, Fiverr's customer support acted professionally, diligently, and above all, fairly, standing staunchly behind their money-back guarantee. They added that they were going to review the questionable seller's behavior.
Important Tip
If interested in anything offered at a gig at a great discount, I can't emphasize enough to read everything carefully and then re-read everything again to fully understand what the seller is offering you before you place an order. Next, communicate with the seller, be polite, always, and ask many relevant questions until you are completely satisfied and now know exactly what to expect. This will ensure that your overall experience will be smooth and pleasant. Ask for a sample of past work, and if you like what you see, only then order.
